a brief company history

AXIS Strategy Consultants Limited was set up to address the needs of small and medium size companies for both management and financial expertise. Subsequently, AXIS Strategy Consultants France S.a.r.l. has developed to serve the needs of our French and European clients.

Pooling our distinct, yet interlinked resources allows us to deliver a more complete and effective range of solutions to our customers, in particular as they are faced by the challenges of an ever more competitive marketplace driven by information needs.

the team

Martin Sanders

has worked in management consultancy since 1994. His particular experience lies in directing projects to deliver improvements in profitability and operational infrastructure for clients across a range of business sectors. The development and implementation of tailored management support systems onsite throughout the client organisation - from office employee to executive - are the cornerstones to this expertise.

A fluent French speaker, Martin has ten years' project experience with companies in France, Sweden, Germany, Belgium and the UK. He originally graduated from Oxford Polytechnic and followed this with a combined Master Degree in Environmental Management at the Politecnico di Torino and the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. Recently Martin has worked at the European Commission Directorate General for Information and Society in the evaluation of project proposals.

Des Cooney

has worked in financial services for almost fifteen years, dealing with expatriate financial affairs throughout the European Union.

Des graduated in Business Studies from Jordanstown University Belfast, is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and has completed his MBA. He is currently undertaking a Doctorate in Business Administration.

Company role:

• responsibility for corporate finance issues relating to company structuring, mergers and acquisitions
• establishment of client corporate and personal fund management schemes
• personal portfolio management
• sales, training and marketing activities.

Antony Delvalle

has sixteen years of experience working in the provision of financial services. Tony has worked with the Merchant Investors Group as well as being an independent broker consultant for Royal Life Insurance Limited. Tony has written for the Financial Times Business publication European Financial Adviser. He is a French and Spanish speaker and is qualified with the UK Life Insurance Association. He has worked with the French financial regulator, the Commission des Operations de Bourse, as well as developing financial and presentation training seminars and programs for clients such as HSBC, CDC IXIS, Société Générale, UBS and SEI fund management. He has also been active in the development of the online examinations for the Franco British Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
